When a person, let’s call it 'soul' in the search of mean 'to be', as the act to be itself within, has an existential conflict with the knowledge that it generates with an unsatisfied mind for wisdom. One has to delimit its mind in order to keep sense, to keep learning on a rational level, for the contrary one can lose reason, therefore control.
Which after all, all toughs have an origin which one searches, and will find many variants which in some way forge knowledge in the way that we pretend to achieve and that I call adjective empiric knowledge. To question ourselves until achieving the meaning of our wills.
Underneath this sentence, I'll share a little fragment that I like to refer to, as a way to acknowledge people some philosophies that had come across time in order for us humans to understand a bit more of how our minds and perspectives work and how identifying ourselves will help us find better ways to understand the world that surround us.
Along history were given five solutions to the knowledge problem: skepticism, empiricism, rationalism, idealism, and realism.
The skepticism denies all knowledge; it's best to doubt. The empiricism only conceives cognitive capacity from sense-experience; or better said, knowledge is only valid if it comes from sense-experience. The rationalism, on the contrary, it states that the senses can fool us, therefore the need of universal scientific knowledge which can only be achieved by human intellectual faculties. The idealism, it denies that we can acknowledge ideas other than ourselves; we only capture knowledge from our own ideas. The realism, at last, it states that if we have valid knowledge achieved by our senses and intelligence, and that can reach to reality itself, which is independent of the person who acknowledges itself.
